Move Fonts Between Mac OS 9 and X

The move to Mac OS X brought sweeping changes to the Macintosh world. Especially in font management. OS X introduced an all-new, more complex architecture for managing fonts that invalidated old font management and made life harder for users. If you still use Mac OS 9 for some of your work, you know how maddening it is to manage fonts in both operating systems.
